A Classic Titanium reel

Hi there!

Just finished this two reels:












Full Ti reels, no drag just a plunger type clicker with a nice sound - IMHO:)
The reel has a Rim Control for easy palming!

The Trutta 2\0 WD will hold around DT4 +70m/ WF5 + 75m
The Trutta 2\0 will be approx DT2 +50m/ WF3 +55m

The weight of the Trutta 2/0 WD (Wide Drum) is 178 grams, the Trutta 2/0 with a narrow and a non spoked spool weights 188 grams. The spool volume of the narrow one is 2,95 cubic inches and the wide one is 4,04 cubic inches.

The size of the WD model is as shown on the following drawing. A normal drum version is 5mm narrower, has a non spoked/ perforated spool and a bakelite handle. This is the only differences...

Hi all,
I have known Vlad for many years and pleased to see him posting his great reels on this forum,he is the master when it comes to working in Titanium.
For those who do not know Vlad designed and made the Hardy Zane ti reels was also designer of the Hardy Marksman reel.
I was fortunate to have a view on these new reels early and can say for sure they look to be another great reel and i know he is
not asking a great deal price wise for a Ti reel,so grab one whilst you can.
He made my Ti reel in my Project thread,so i know anyone who purchases one of is reels will be very happy with his work and be looked after.

Very, very nice! Not many reel designers manage to make contemporary reels with classic flavour. Nothing wrong with heritage, but what is modern today will be classic tomorrow!

Vlad, your reels are works of art, the perfect fusion of form and function. I took the liberty of looking you up, and that led me to an eye-popping array of your other reels. I especially like the "Classic" with the S handle. The ones you made in collaboration with Alexander Kaplun are also very attractive, I love the looks of the Megoff 23VR.

Here is the Classic N1 dated back to 2005.

The weight of the reel with the S-shaped rim is 140g.(4,9 Oz.),
Arrow shaped Rim - 147g. (5,1 Oz.).

Both reels has the same dimensions shown on the pic below:

Yes - you are right - on the Classic N1 absolutely the same design!
The newer generation of TRUTTA reels has a completely different plunger type clicker system!

I have one of Vlad's reels, the SALMO TRUTTA PERFECTION 8/10 Ti and it is absolutely the finest workmanship and smoothest reel I have ever used. I feel honored to own one of his creations.
