After watching Davie McPhail tie an Olive Snatcher, I thought, with a different wing and some partridge,
that could make a good emerging caddis. Even though the Sowbug Fly Tying event has been cancelled
again this year, I hope to make it over to the White River in Arkansas next month and try this fly. I've had success
with caddis there before in late March and I think they continue to May.

#3I love Davy's ties. But I can't understand a damned word he's saying. I wish his vids included subtitles.

#4Davie’s subtitles would reveal the he’s just saying “peas and carrots, carrots and peas” over and over again
(I love his ties and vids too.)

#5It reminds me of Charles Brooks' caddis in Nymph Fishing for Larger Trout.
