noticing SPAM POST

Use this forum for Q&A of a technical nature, i.e., PC, cache, screen related problems, picture resizing, avatars and the like. We will also post facts here for you and instructions of a how-to nature which should make things more fun for you by eliminating some of the frustration with posting photos, etc. Thanks.

with no more than some of the admin and moderators add to the forum now it should be no problem for you guys and you made it very clear years ago you did not want me as part of the admin team and I was an absolute terror to spam post and summarily dismissed them every morning when I was a moderator/OWNER of the forum., yep there have been five owners and they are or where;

Clark Davis the founder Sante Giuliani took over from Clark and then Handed it to me and Pat Garner and Todd Larson whereupon Pat and I passed it onto Todd. way too much porn spam anymore very sad to see!!!

Yes Jeff, you were once a moderator here. And there are/were a number of very good reasons you are no longer a moderator.

Forum spam always has, and always will be a problem for public forums. The developers will come up with new ways to try and keep the spammers away, and the spammers will always find ways around it. The mods here do a pretty good job of getting rid of the spam when they are here, but most of us have jobs and are productive in our lives and don't have the time to spend 24 hours a day on this forum. It's all volunteer, nobody is being paid for it, and yet for pretty much the most part this forum runs pretty darned smoothly.

So, we're terribly sorry we're not here every minute of every day to catch every single post the moment it's posted, just to please you. You'll just have to accept that the folks that run this forum are human, and we catch the spammers when we log in.

Jeff,

You really need to work on your reading comprehension skills. I said the mods are busy people like everybody else, and don't have time to be on the forum 24 hours a day. Nothing more, nothing less. You were not mentioned explicitly or implicitly concerning you leading a productive life or not. I can't help it if you read into things that are not there.
