PM's removed by filters ?

Use this forum for Q&A of a technical nature, i.e., PC, cache, screen related problems, picture resizing, avatars and the like. We will also post facts here for you and instructions of a how-to nature which should make things more fun for you by eliminating some of the frustration with posting photos, etc. Thanks.

PM's removed by filters ?

#1

Post by Brian K. Shaffer »

I got this message on my PM main screen in a gray box :

2 private messages were removed due to private message filters.

What exactly happened ?
Why ?
Do I change this under settings ?
Thanks.

Were these messages you didn't receive or messages you sent?

Brian, is your PM box full because it will only hold 500 messages? I think the system will dump messages when the box is full. I just noticed I have 432 in mine, so time to clean some out.

Go to your Control Panel, click on Private Messages, then click on Rules, Folders and Settings. There is indeed a 500 message limit on PM's.

Thank you guys for the help.
I deleted a bunch to make room.
Cheers - Brian
