Studying tonight for a final exam. I'd take a cup of that coffee. The changes look like they are proceeding very well.

Right on top of things now. Just kicked a handful of spammers off. Didn't take them long! LOL

Good luck with the exam!

If you're registered on another yuku forum (ultralight fly fishing, fly fishing arkansas and missouri) your PM's should stay in the overall database as long as yuku continues to exist.

After a couple of stumbles and miss-steps I finally got reconnected to this fine community. Boy, was I sweating it. I was thinking for a while I had lost access to the greatest gathering of minds and kind souls I had ever encountered encompassing a unique and somewhat overlooked Americana passion.

Whew! Glad to be back!

Thanks guys - this looks like a good change. I'm not worried about profile info or PM's not being carried over since my profile was hacked sometime late spring - early summer of 2011. All profile info including photo albums disappeared along with PM's and most of my posts.

I look forward to being able to post again.

Merry Christmas

Aw, Mark, you're just saying these things because the Yankees
didn't get Nick Punto--the Sawx did. Jeter could have used
some help. But Nick likes lifting underdogs--the Twins, the
Cardinals, the Red Sox. If you could just concede the NYY
are exceptionally well qualified as underdogs, I might become
less prolix.

I really relish this opportunity you've given me to start over.
It's invigorating, like being 18 again, and a hero into the
bargain. Bob and I are wondering if there will be some sort
of campaign ribbon which come with that. Thanks![/quote]

Brother Bill,

The Sawx need all the help they can get. While disappointed the Yanks didn't get Nick, I'm sure they'll work their way through the draft, make some canny trades, and emerge back on top yet again this coming year.

Yankees underdogs? Heaven forbid. :o

Strange occurance yesterday. After I logged on and placed this site in "Favorites" I deleted the old site out of "Favorites".
Came back later and got the old YUKU site. Came back still later and got the new site, seems to be working right this morning.

When time becomes available, please recreate something like the "Active Members" button from the Yuku site. That button allowed getting to all of the entries beginning with the latest. Very nice for people like me who have a range of interests and might have missed something that appeared in the recent past.

Have you tried investigating the following links on the index page?

as well as looking at the members list?

They might be different but I do think they offer a whole lot more than the "active members list".

I got hacked too, lost files from Photobucket -- wondering if your sit was same as mine...how did they/he get in...? Any ideas, feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.

I checked them all and they do not offer the nice overview of the latest posts which the "Active Members" (a misnomer, from my point of view) provided. By clicking that single button, it was possible to see the individual posts (not just the topics in which the posts occur) for the entire forum from the latest to earlier. Because they were the posts, over time, it was possible to see page after page of what I had missed a day or two previously. "View New Posts" sounds like it would be the same, but a quick check produced a single page of entries.

Please don't take this as a complaint, I only wish to suggest something at least I found useful under the Yuku system.

Well, for some reason I have 3 pages. I see what you are saying though. It really could benefit from the first few lines of the post in the results list.

I'm not sure if that is possible. It should certainly be on the 'to be looked at' list. (in reality, my head will work on it anyway. LOL ).
