I just ordered a copy. Looking forward to reading it as SEMN is my “home” region. I fish there more than anyplace else.

Upon reading a thread on this forum about a book called Outdoor Chronicles I took a chance as I had never heard of the book or author Jerry Hamza. I loved it and there is a great mix of humor, self deprecation and the intermixing of fishing with life experiences. It was as enjoyable as Gierach's Trout Bum which is an all time favorite. Kinda surprised there was not more talk about this book. For me it was the most enjoyable fishing book I have read in years.

I got my book from Bob White, who did the cover and all the illustrations for Johns articles in Trout Magazine and before that Fly Rod and Reel. The book was autographed and for a little extra money Bod does a drawing of your favorite fly. I really like the book and the drawing I got.

I did the same. Shipped yesterday. Chose an ‘Adams’ for my drawing.

I read an advance copy and was very pleased with it. It’s somewhat of a return to form, imo, covering some familiar ground but there are quite a few gems. Much more so then his last couple... imo

I just looked in the classifieds and Mike's posting with the email to the order the book has dropped off. Does anyone have that email address? Please PM me with it if you don't want to publicize it.

Thanks
