Information please. I am new to the forum, so I hope that this is where I ask for assistance.
I am trying to gather some information on a rod maker who was apparently working in the latter part of the 19th century. He was a boot maker, his sign read "J. H. Keeley / Boot Maker". The two supports of the sign read as follows: "Fine Bamboo Fly Rods Made To Order" and "The Best Hand Tied Flies In The Territory." The sign itself is in the shape of a high button shoe/boot. Since he uses the term "...Territory," and since the shoe is in the style of the mid to late 19th century, I believe that he may have been located in one of the Territories prior to its Statehood.
Any assistance will be appreciated.
