Hello from Germany

#1

Post by Wurmbunt »

Hello,
my Name is Andi and i'm living in Germany.
I hope you will excuse my poor english - it is not my primary language - only learned it in scool, sevaral years ago...
Flyfishing is one of my passions and i have begun to build my own splitcanerods. I also like vintage fishing tackle, so i thought this forum might be a place for me!
This nice browntrout is caught by my 7' Splitcane (Garrison taper 201E) A vintage "Hardy" marquis and a "Phönix" silkline.
Kind regards,
Andi

Welcome Andi. That's a nice brown trout. Someday I hope to fish in Germany.
...as for us we pin our faith and fealty to the silk-wound PENTAGONAL rod cunningly yet simply devised of its FIVE subtle, individual triangular strips of cane throughout...

Welcome! If my German were as good as your English, I’d be a happy man.
