Old guy coming back
#1Dear Board,
I belonged to the board for many years and was fairly active 10 or more years ago, even though I honestly never really had much to add.
I decided to come back and watch and learn some more. I didn't stop fishing, and I didn't stop fishing bamboo, I just simply sort of lost track and I regretted that.

#3Welcome Tim:
Don't know if you are a "member" of the Fly Fisher's Club of Harrisburg or not, though if you are we may have met over the past years. I was a regular for many years, now retired in the Catskills.

#5Welcome back to the forum.
Then as it was, then again it will be. Though the course may change sometimes, rivers always reach the sea. - Led Zeppelin, 10 Years Gone

#6Hey everyone,
Thanks for the welcome back.
Mike EXPSP4043, I used to live in the Southern Tier of NY and fished from Hornell to the Catskills. I spent a a lot of time on the Susquehanna and Chemung Rivers fishing for smallmouth, but mostly in NY State. We may have crossed paths?
Caneghost, I have heard of the Flyfisher's Club of Harrisburg, but was never a member. "I'm not sure I'd want to be part of a club that accepted me as a member?" I think that was Rodney Dangerfield that said that? Enjoy your retirement in the Catskills, and don't forget to hit the Susquehanna when the dog days of Summer leave trout fishing behind.
To everyone else. Viewing the forum I still see many names that are familiar. I joined the board on the recommendation of a a friend when it was still Clark's board. I stayed on when Sante, AKA Banjo, took it over, but the last 10 years or so have found me fishing much less, and missing it more and more. It's time to change that!
If anyone is near SC Pennsylvania and wants to fish just holler.

“He told us about Christ's disciples being fishermen, and we were left to assume, as my brother and I did, that all first-class fishermen on the Sea of Galilee were fly fishermen and that John, the favorite, was a dry-fly fisherman.”
