Looking for Orvis fans/collectors born in 1946

#1

Post by NewUtahCaneAngler »

I recently picked up an Orvis 2-piece rod from 1946, which I am in the process or refinishing. I also have a J.W. Young 3" that according to Ron/Bulldog 1935 is from 1946/47. I intend to sell these as a set in the classifieds once I'm finished with the refinishing of the rod. I would like to give 1st dibs to a member who was born in 1946 (will want some form of proof). This is not a for sale post, but one to seek our members born in 1946 who like Orvis rods (and hopefully JW Young reels). PM me if interested.

Mods, if this should be in the classifieds, then please move it there. Thank you.

Cheers,
Joe

I love this idea - what neat thinking.
I'm only off by 27 years ~

(wait that would make me born in 1919)

Darn Baby Boomers have all the luck. Born just too soon for this.
