Happy to be Here

Hello all,

I am so happy to be here and learn from each of you. What got me here are a couple of old bamboo fly rods that I purchased many years ago at an antique store, and now it’s time for me to restore at least one of them. I am hoping to get some tips, tricks and good old fashioned advice along the way.

Thanks Christopher for being on the forum. Can you tell us and post some photos of your old fly rods?? I’m sure they are interesting. Welcome, Jed

Thanks for the welcome guys. I’ll take a few pics of the rod that I am starting on and post them over on the Rod making, restoration, repairs page.
