New guy from Colorado
#1I have to admit I'm not a collector of fly rods, but I am a collector of fly reels. I have near 150 old vintage reels. Mainly Meisselbach and Pflueger Progress.

#2Welcome aboard! I'm in Seattle but my son lived in Arvada for seven years. Loved to fish in Colorado, my favorite was the South Platte in the Eleven mile canyon! I also collect/fish vintage reels, mostly blue collar but have a dozen plus Hardys....and around 250 others......fun! I have 70+ bamboo rods with a ton of projects. Always looking....

#10Welcome from another fisherman with a similar affliction. Can't say I have 150 reels, but my count is north of 100 and I should spend more time using them than admiring them.

#13Welcome, Please make yourself at home. I come from a long line of trout fisher's out of Denver. That's where it all began for me. As for reel's, I can't help myself either! Ken

#17I have been off the site for about six years, but still collecting. Does anyone know if Phil White has put out a new price guide on Meisselbach reels?

#19Cheers from Montrose as well. I was looking at outfitting an 11'6" 4 wt sage one and had been between a hardy zenith and marquis salmon 1. Would you happen to have any of those? Cant wait to swing the Gunnison this spring. Thankscap n Dickie wrote: ↑01/01/23 18:36I have been off the site for about six years, but still collecting.
