#1611I had this little 7 foot 4wt Leonard Duracane in the classifieds this week, decided to take it fishing on Tuesday. It was such a hoot to fish, I think I'll keep it for a while!

#1612I got to finally do a couple of bucket list streams this past week. I used a 8’ 5wt Kushner B taper that Kentucky Jim had made a few years ago. I got to fish the Yellow Breeches and the Letort. Caught 3 nice trout on the Yellow Breeches and hooked a very small brown on the Letort but could not get him to me. Carlisle and Boiling Springs are great little towns to spend some time. Really great locals we meet. Barry

#1620I fished my Schroeder PHY Perfectionist today, with an older Ross Colorado 1. Wonderful rod, very easy casting. I never cracked the fish code today though. They were rising but I never got more than refusals. I threw everything at them. Sipping rises, I suspect emerging midges, but they even refused by imitations. Still a fun outing.
