#1401That brings back some memories MAFry. You would have stood out like a sore toe in that outfit and using those rods. Hope you didn't cop too many strange looks. In the 20 year period that I fished it I only ever saw one person fishing cane (and he was wet wading in the middle of Winter). I miss it but not the minus eight degrees mornings, tramping through the dark so as to be the first on my chosen pool.

#1414Got a couple of hours in with a 4wt 8 1/2' Edwards Special, and they were a couple of thoroughly enjoyable hours. Even the 10" cutthroats will bend it nicely! God bless cutthroats as they always seem to look up!

#1415Recently I have enjoyed a sweet little Orvis Madison I picked up at the Catskill Gathering and my Leonard 66H. Bopth were christened with big Catskill brownies!

#1417Oh my, those brookies...
Once again the 7'0" Hoffhines 4wt came out to play fishing #26 olives (Plauditus...the mayfly formerly known as Pseudocleons) on a calm, gloomy day. Got some #28 & #30 hooks on order, but that's for a different forum.
