H&I 6 piece, 7'6", 5/6 weight rod

I was given an H&I 6 piece, 7'6" fly rod in very good condition. By the look of the reel seat the rod must be just post WWII. I cannot find any information on this item. Please let me know if you have any information of this item. If more in depth photo's are necessary, please let me know.

Your rod is a Horrocks-Ibbotson No.3090F "The Sportsman". Introduced in 1951 for $12.00, it would sell through 1954.

Thanks for the valuable information. Tried to cast with the rod. It takes a mountain of a person to use this rod all morning! Nice piece of history. Thanks
