Hi All,

After Walt left, I was dealing with a fellow named Jay, I don’t remember his last name. I presume he was working for Hal.

In any case I received a 101 from Jay that if memory serves me had a number (182) stamped in the butt of the Halstead up locking seat.

Is my memory faulty or did Hal number his rods?

Geez, I thought that I would have least illicited a response from anyone out there who dealt with Payne post Walt Carpenter. Unfortunetly I don’t own that 101 anymore so that I can’t reaffirm my memories of that rod. From what I understand it ended up in Japan. Tough to reconnect.
