Vintage Fly Tackle ?
#1Has something happened at Vintage Fly Tackle? Apparently the contact person listed on the website (Matt) has gone silent- His phone mailbox is full and emails are unanswered-
I was told a couple of days ago that Laura Siemer is no longer in the business...
Does anyone have information? I was thinking of consigning a couple of items-
Thanks-
Chuck

#2Signs are pointing to the end of the line for VFT. No new updates since July and folks seem to be having a tough time contacting them.
Cheers,

#3I'd be curious to hear if anyone has made contact lately. There is an item of mine marked sold for the last several weeks. I never was contacted about the item selling just noticed it was sold viewing the site.....I've emailed both Matt and Madison with no response and no money sent my way. They no longer have a phone number listed. Starting to wonder if consignors are all screwed?

#4Delicate situation, and yes, I'm included with the concerned. Let's stay delicate. If anybody has news on their status, please update in this thread or through PM.

#5Turtledoc,
I am in the very same situation for two rods, marked sold in early june and sometime in august, both sweetgrass pents. Numerous attempts to contact them have gotten me 0 replies in what has now been a year since I sent the rods.

#6Did some digging last night and though I'm hoping for the best, I think we are likely SOL.

#7Bummer! They used to have a really nice selection of rods available.
I'm sure the void will be filled soon.

#8I think they are officially done. I recently went on to their website and using it and Paypal purchased a 60s catelog by one of Sam Carlson's rod brokers. Nothing. A month later I messaged them using their website's contact us feature. Nothing.

#9I believe once again that this is in violation of forum rules. Your private rod sale issues are just that and we can’t be bashing a company here on the forum regardless of what is going on over there.
Re: Vintage Fly Tackle ?
#10VFT has also been a great reference for rods and reels.
Amazing pictures of the items and description.
It would be sad to see that go too...
