Hey guys, just want to give the Winston Repair Shop a shout out. Sent them a 2nd hand (graphite) rod with an ill fitting ferrule. They deemed it a manufacturer's defect and didn't charge for the repair. I did buy a tube and when I got it back after barely a month (not bad) I had a new rod, beautiful Tiger reel seat, and they even labeled the tube.
Really positive experience, want to give them credit.

#2+1...I've dealt with Kay in the repair shop several times and each rod I've put through there ended up with (unasked for/uncharged) value, functionality, and appearance ad ons.
