I thought it would be fun to post some random pics of your Dingley reels. So please add yours.

Here’s a contrasting pic of my largest (5”) and smallest (2 3/4”) Dingley fly fishing reels.

Two 'D' made early Hardy Silex's..Records show it would have taken W.D a day and half to 'fit' each one together.

Three 2.75" reels. I really like the straight latch on the middle one ...and the yellow knob.

My steelhead users at 3 1/2", 3 3/4", and 4". Initially I was only interested in pre-war reels with a full length foot. But I quickly became a big fan of these reels, and wanted a couple to use on rods that had a standard reel seat. Took a while, but I eventually found a couple post-war reels with an original standard length foot.

Hey Forrest, can you migrate those awesome pics of yours from Photobucket to another provider? Since their stupid ‘pic capture’ the pics hosted with them comes up blurred. :-[

Heres a group badged for Westley Richards, 2 3/4 horse shoe latch,3 inch butter fly latch, 3 1/8 three screw latch with the Westley London(only) address and my old favourite lucky 3 3/4 inch salmon perfect. This reel has seen some use but has served me well over the years.
