What do you think? It’s a 9’ rod. Three pieces @ 36&1/2” each. There’s no brand name or stamp.

Signed in fine black marker: “Built-By Harless Coos Bay, Jim Rinehart John Day”.

Has a light green fabric sleeve, no label. And an aluminum tube, threaded stainless cap. The condition I’d give a 4, there’s two chips in the cork handle, and some dirt/use scratches on the reel seat. The guides and wraps are all pretty decent though.

I’m wondering what to call it, and a value. Thank you in advance for any insight.

Looks a lot like Union Hardware of Torrington, Conn., post-war. The signature is from the person(s) who restored and rewrapped it. I don't think it's a private build, but I've been wrong before.

Thank you Mark,

I googled around with your tips and think you’re probably right.

I think this was most likely rebuilt by Randall Harless, not sure of its origins.

Yes I see Phillipson bones as well. Paragon and Pacemaker used this seat at times.
