WorkSharp 3000 Discs Were to Buy

So were do you folks who use the worksharp3000 system buy your discs. I've been using this system for about 6 years and I'm very pleased but buying discs from worksharp is very expensive. I'm looking for an alternative source. I've done some online searches but can't seem to find anything quite right. I mostly use the 1000 grit and 3600 grit discs. So as not to reinvent the wheel please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.

I found a box of fifty 1000 grit PSA backed discs through Amazon. I had to punch the center hole but that was easy with a piece of sharpened tubing. As for the finer grits I have been buying the micro mesh discs from WorkSharp. If you find another source for 3000g and 6000g discs please share.

I'm searching for the source but I purchased 8000 and 12,000 grit discs for my Worksharp. The discs don't have a hole cut out so I had to do it with a razor blade. If I find the source I'll post it here.

I can't find my email where the invoice was but I think this is the place. The 12,000 grit is really fine

The Micro-surface site says that the discs are cushioned, both the adhesive and the velcro backed. Are the discs that you get cushioned?

Next time my fine paper disks run low, I'm getting the DMT honing disk kit:

I've already got their sharpening disk kit and it works very well. Both are on sale now at Amazon for $70, if you don't mind supporting the Borg.

For up to 3000 grit you can look on Amazon. Look for Dura-Gold PSA discs and you'll find a large range of grits.

Maybe that's the wrong link because my 12,000 grit discs are not padded.
