Two Hardy Uniquas. The smallest of the contracted 25/8" maker TA (Thomas Appleby at Hardys between 1920-1947.And the smallest of the Hardy Uniqua Salmon 31/2" made by Hardy reel maker T.A.G (Thomes ArmstronG at Hardys between 1928 to 1979) The 25/8" can be datet to around 1946, the 31/2" Uniqua Salmon to the mid 1930th. Both boxes are slightly older than the reels. Enjoy!

For your pleasure, two roaring bully sisters, 4 and 4 1/2 inch Hardy Uniqua Salmon reels made by W Dingley in 1909 (according to Drewitt)

Evidently, I have a "problem"....lol. I've actually sold a few CFOs in the recent past..a minty VI, 123, II and a handful of IIIs.

Two (hard and heavy) Duralumin 1930's Uniquas, 4" & 2 7/8", both stamped J.S

Interesting to note on both reels, the recessed letters, knurling and concentric rings contain blacklead. I like to think of Jimmy dipping his finger and applying it as he finished off the reels.

That's good stuff right there... the best! Thanks guys.

GMan's CFO collection is also quite cool. Ice cold. Stop selling those reels.

odds and his spellbinding Jimmy Smith reels...

Wedding Cakes, sharp tools, weed, that's a party right there!

Nice collection, I've always admired them. The Wedding Cakes that is.

The disc drag was too much for this 5000 series reel.

These worked out so much better for the company.

The 5000 series were made, by Lamson, for the salt.
They are beautifully made but never really caught on.
