Hello,
I stumbled on this site looking for info on older fly rods and reels.
Located in eastern Tennessee and live on the Watagua River.
Which is a very popular trout fishing river. 60 years ago I could fish it all day and never see another flyrodding angler. Now on any given day there are usually dozens fishing.

#5Welcome to the forum. I think a lot of us would agree that the pressure on some rivers has increased dramatically. Back in the 80's I used to fish a river for Steelhead and might see one or two other anglers in a day. The last time I fished it, there were well over 100. Ironically, until things crashed in the last couple of years, the fishing was actually much better despite the increase in pressure.
