Two quotes for the day..

or however that dang word is written! : ) Use this forum to discuss those things that are related to, directly, or indirectly, fly fishing, i.e., tackle, catalogs, single malt scotch, cigar preferences, pipes, camera gear, etc. This is sort of an off topic area but one related to bamboo and fly fishing.

Two quotes for the day..

The world has always profited from the suffering.

The past has show that in the long run, humanity prospers from the calamity.

Only stretch as long as your bed covers.
If you dont your feet will get cold.

When I found the right cork, I bought $1,100 worth of it.
I guess I have enough to last for a while.

I always based my life on two sayings.

He Who Hesitates is Lost

and

Fools Rush In

It has been very confusing some days, especially for my family.

Love this thread, Here's another. I've kept this quote taped to one of my older fly boxes for forty years or so. It reminds me what to do while thrashing alone through an unknown canyon of down trees and rock rubble in pursuit of trouts. :)

"Talents are best nurtured in solitude: Character is best formed in the stormy billows of the world." - Goethe
