Bow River video

or however that dang word is written! : ) Use this forum to discuss those things that are related to, directly, or indirectly, fly fishing, i.e., tackle, catalogs, single malt scotch, cigar preferences, pipes, camera gear, etc. This is sort of an off topic area but one related to bamboo and fly fishing.

My in-laws live in Calgary. I had the luck of floating the Bow many years ago, the last few years (pre Covid) that we have been there it has been either during runoff or at Christmas, so have not fished the Bow in a while. Can't wait to go back.

Good video, terrible music. I hit the mute feature on it.

OK - just imo, presents much of what is now "off the mark" with our sport... was a private and contemplative and quietly in tune with nature attitude to a degree at one time.

Live about 10 minutes from the Bow, Love the summer and Fall Dry fly fishing. Hoppers, Golden Stones and Tricos can be steller.
