How you can use Google photos to your advantage

If you use Google photos, you can search your own photos using the top search bar on your Google photos page.

Amazing to be able to have everything in a group. You don't always have to take pictures of labels for this to work,
and sometimes you pull up pictures from random events you have not seen in 20 years.
If you go back a long way with Google photos - you will be surprised.

You are not typing this into Google and hitting search.

You're searching your own Google Photos page.

You could pull this photo up using the word Orvis or even Plant :

Seventeen years ago I could kneel like that, but not no more

This is how it works on a home computer for me... also on my laptop
and my cell phone - because I am using Google Photos across all three platforms.
On your phone and laptop you have to get the app - sync it all together - which takes some doing.

I also still have to post every image first to Post Image to host it - then to here.

I'm a fan of Google Photos. FWIW, all my visible images in the various forums I frequent come directly from GP, no need to go through Post Image.

Check the privacy documents, by using Google apps (photos, drive, docs etc) for free, you've given something away. Just saying.

I knew I had shots of Crane Creek in Missouri... one of the 50 places you must fly fish before you die.
