If you use Google photos, you can search your own photos using the top search bar on your Google photos page.
Amazing to be able to have everything in a group. You don't always have to take pictures of labels for this to work,
and sometimes you pull up pictures from random events you have not seen in 20 years.
If you go back a long way with Google photos - you will be surprised.
' Bird ' brought this and many others up :
Trout or Bamboo Rod :
You are not typing this into Google and hitting search.
You're searching your own Google Photos page.
You could pull this photo up using the word Orvis or even Plant :
Kneel, but NOT the words crouch or Navajo Dam 2005 or waders
Seventeen years ago I could kneel like that, but not no more

This is how it works on a home computer for me... also on my laptop
and my cell phone - because I am using Google Photos across all three platforms.
On your phone and laptop you have to get the app - sync it all together - which takes some doing.
I also still have to post every image first to Post Image to host it - then to here.
Back inside cover; Trout / Winter 1969 vol.10 num.1

You either like cane fly rods - or you don't.

#2I'm a fan of Google Photos. FWIW, all my visible images in the various forums I frequent come directly from GP, no need to go through Post Image.

#3Check the privacy documents, by using Google apps (photos, drive, docs etc) for free, you've given something away. Just saying.

#4A post to explain to a new old friend who just joined... something he can could and did understand / he already thanked me.
He used Google translate.
I appreciate this site in many ways - as we all do. (and Bestie says - we need more women fly fishers to speak up!)

#5Even zip codes will work to pull up where the photo was taken.
I knew I had shots of Crane Creek in Missouri... one of the 50 places you must fly fish before you die.
Typed in the 65633 zip code and bingo :
Dairy Farm up river from that bridge
Main access
