#63Some positive news about Todd. His brother Peter just called to report that per his doctor, Todd's condition is improving. I won't get into the medical details, but Peter believes that Todd's life is no longer in significant danger.
As others have mentioned, he's speaking a few words and is becoming impatient with the difficulty of it. Todd's a very active person and I take that as a good sign, as does Peter.
Peter asked that I post his phone number in case there's need to contact him: 801-301-7836.
Todd is blessed with a great family...

#66A few years ago, I had the pleasure to fish with Pete and Todd at the Henry's Fork. What a hoot! Few things are funnier or more special than grown siblings who enjoy each other's company. Todd, Pete and the whole family--we are pulling for you.

#71Happy to say I just got off the phone with our boy Todd (thanks to his brother Jonathan). We had a relatively short conversation (for those who know Todd and how lengthy his conversations often can be) as speech is difficult but he was definitely in good spirits and sounded up for the fight.
Told him that there were 4 pages and counting of thoughts and prayers for him here which he seemed to really appreciate. He is going to be transferred to a rehab facility soon which I know from experience will be key in his recovery.
Have to echo Greg's sentiment regarding his family too - Todd is truly blessed with an amazing family.
Continued prayers of healing for Todd.

#74Knowing how many connections Todd has on the Forum, it's great that folks are showing up and cheering for him. It's the people who maintain the conversation about fly fishing, and Todd is at the center.
