My Band, Streaming Feb. 17

They're doing a rebroadcast of an appearance my band made
at the Dakota Bar last spring. It was a great sound stage, and
the guys in my band never played better. We'll be online at
7pm, CST. Here's the details.

Looking forward to it Bill. Your band has some serious chops! And the drummer, coolest cat ever!

Bill,
We drove late into the night and I missed the program. Is it recorded somewhere, where I can hear it now?

Perry, there's a replay button on the site Bill linked to -- you may need to enter your email to get to the recording.to

Bill, wonderful performance...fun to stream as background music while I work.

That is a group of first class musicians making Real music! I'm amazed that you can maintain that upbeat tempo wearing a mask and I'm jealous at how clean and smooth your rolls are Bill - Bravo!!!

Really glad to help keep this thread bumped for the sheer enjoyment of a super clean performance. billems, it's one thing to be a jazz drummer, as you say, and another entirely to lead a talented combo as you do with such distinctive punch. Really impressive and unique style that shows how hard you must work at it.

Do you take requests? ....something from the Les McCann/Eddie Harris/Benny Bailey songbook, please! Have a great time, and please pass our compliments on to the band. Keep going!

Thanks, fellas. What I find rather hilarious is...this band is very hard to book--even at the local jazz clubs. The Midwest music scene of governed by jealous white guys.
