Orvis Battenkill clock

or however that dang word is written! : ) Use this forum to discuss those things that are related to, directly, or indirectly, fly fishing, i.e., tackle, catalogs, single malt scotch, cigar preferences, pipes, camera gear, etc. This is sort of an off topic area but one related to bamboo and fly fishing.

Orvis Battenkill clock

Post by Expsp4043 »

My wife and I were at an antique Co-op in Salamanca, N.Y. last week and I found an Orvis Battenkill 7/8 fly reel clock. The dealer wanted $45.00 for it and the co-op was offering 20% off anything over $10.00 so I ended up paying $39.00 for it. When we got home that evening I cruised E-Bay and found one exactly like it for $175.00, Buy it now. I would say I got a pretty good deal, wouldn't you? There was also an Orvis CFO II, Made in China in the same booth that I bought for a good price too. Very successful day! Mike

Never posted pictures on this site before. Go to E-bay and type in Orvis Battenkill fly reel clock. Good pictures of it there.
