#3Neat to hear a bamboo rod and Hardy reel mentioned in a fly fishing themed song! The guitar pickin' isn't too shabby either. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Thanks for that.

#5From one old folkie to another, nice!
I spent most of my money on shotguns, fly rods, guitars and banjos. The rest I just wasted. (Apologies to W.C. Fields)

#6Wonderful ! Do you mind if I shared this on FFR Forum? (Fiberglass Flyrodders)

#9Very nice! Love the dobro. Is that you on all instruments?
Your vocals & song writing on that song reminds me of Gurf Morlix (of whom I am a fan).

#10I'll have to check out Gurf! Always looking for new (to me) music! on this track, i did play the dobro on the demo, then i used the demo and added the rest including drums. then i had John O'kennedy play dobro and mandolin.. some of my original licks are still on the track but most of the dobro (the good stuff anyway) is John.. That's him on the other track i posted "Last chance Lullaby". I think he plays the heck out of that tune! His Weisenborn playing is world class! you can check some of that out on this song: https://soundcloud.com/user-211696529/1 ... al_sharing

#11Nice stuff Jeb. Nice to know that not only do we have experienced fly fishermen but also talented musicians on this forum. Do you play anywhere? Love to come hear you live somewhere. Maybe up at Henry’s Fork around a campfire at the gravel pit? By the way. Where exactly is this no tell ‘‘em creek?
Re: No Tell 'Em Creek
#13Upricon, Yes, i'll be playing at the gravel pit every night this year from early to mid July.. Just look for the little casita camper with the life is good spare tire cover and stop on by.. i even do requests but they usually cost a cold beer or a shot of whistle pig! As for the location of no tell 'em creek, can I first ask where you typically do this stand up comedy routine?
