#6The story of Ray Rath and the origin of the Dickerson Guide series marks another small but significant step in the rediscovery of our angling heritage. Thank you, Marc.

#8I absolutely love your site! Of the 45 rods I’ve made thus far, roughly 30 have been based on Dickerson tapers. I know I’m not matching his rods exactly, but they seem to have the casting qualities that I like the most. I love seeing all the models that Mr. Dickerson made during his long career and I sure with that more of his tapers were available to us.
...as for us we pin our faith and fealty to the silk-wound PENTAGONAL rod cunningly yet simply devised of its FIVE subtle, individual triangular strips of cane throughout...

#9Really appreciate all the time and research you have put into this site Marc, so thank you. I think Dickerson rods are my go to tapers as they seem to suit my casting style. I’ll probably never be able to afford an original, but it nice to pay homage to the man and his craft when doing versions of his rods.
