I have a Loop Nymph wide that I've owned for 20 years, and I finally got a replacement roller set. For some reason I thought it'd come with replacement bearings also but you're supposed to reuse the bearings. What should I lube them with?

Get in touch with Loop. I have replacements with bearings which is an option. The look self lubricated.

I thought the bearings were ball or needle bearings but after taking the reel apart, I found that they're plain bearings, indeed they are self lubricating. I cleaned them with WD and then wiped them clean with a rag and they are smooth as new. The reel feels literally like a new reel, I can't believe I put off ordering new rollers for so long.

If anyone has a rough running Loop tradtional, buy new rollers! It's $15 including shipping. https://danielsson-flyreels.se/en/spare ... nal-series
