Anyone have experience Fishing in Northern Italy

Gentlemen,
Over the last few years, I recall reading some about fellow members fishing/living in Northern Italy, specifically the Lake region. Does anyone have ANY information regarding fishing Lombardia...I am located near Lago d' Iseo and would love to start exploring the streams and rivers with my son. Thank you all for your help.

There is an Italian bamboo rod makers group that publishes a magazine, I would think they might help. Check out the website splitcaneinfo.com and you can view their magazine and find contact info.
