Southpaw here. Rod in the left, wind with the right.

Originally left hand wind.....but better prices on right hand wind Hardys so now a RHW guy! Feels normal now.

Right handed, reel right and switch rod to left. Works for me.

I am right handed - cast with my right hand, and reel with my left hand. Wading staff - left hand.

I am right handed , cast right handed but set up my reels to reel with my right hand.
I have no problem reeling with my left hand and have done so many times when using guides equipment.
To each their own, no right or wrong .
