Finally after 40+ yrs collecting I have gotten around to putting together a proper display.
Almost done, two shelves to go and a few more pot lights!

The chosen color shade and lighting shows nicely with the general colors of the reels. Well done Sir.

I can not fathom what you possibly paid for steel I-beams with the going Covid rates for building materials. Hopefully you had them stashed away knowing what you have accumulated for reels.

Congrats....that’s a lovely collection and the new display case highlights the reels and accessories beautifully. Please post some of your “treasures” and share their history with us.
Regards from the Restigouche....Jim

The only problem is now The Boss knows exactly how many reels I have!

Plans for a rod display are on hold. 😬

Very nice! Not much use having a collection that you can’t see and enjoy and that display certainly makes them enjoyable!

Yes very nice! A collection should be displayed. Not kept in boxes and drawers.
Good job!

Maybe this calls for a "show your reel display" thread?

Very nice display, great light too. There's an odd, manly comfort looking at your assembled reels...or mebbe it's just the lust of the collector that thrills me. Anyways, great job.
