Heddon bag fiber removal

#1

Post by paul1963 »

I have a Heddon Rod and the varnish is actually very smooth and shiny and nice like new still but there’s a spot on a couple of the flats that stuck to the bag and I’d like to know the best way to get the bag fibers off the varnish without harming or softening the varnish.
Thanks for any help that anyone can offer

A light rubbing compound should do the trick. Use sparingly and check your work often.
