Fly line for Leonard 38
#1Any Leonard collectors have a recommendation for a line for a Leonard 38, that weighs 2 1/2 ounces

#3Or a 406 line. These lines are AFTMA accurate, and designed for bamboo. They cast very well too!

#4On a Leonard 7’ 3 wt ( different model #) of mine I really enjoy a Zen Dt silk. Jaime’s line suites the rod nicely and I feel a silk makes the whole Leonard experience come together perfectly in my opinion.
Now I also have a DT 406 I use for this Leonard and minus the silk zing through the guides it is a very similar casting experience. My 3rd choice in lines overall are Cortland 444 Peach ( not in that order of preference always necessarily) and the Zen then 406 are 1 & 2 over the Peach being 3 in this particular case.
