I think Norm sold the shop sometime in 21/early 22.

The shop was sold a while back. Norm continued to live on Sanibel. I went down to help Norm about a few days after Hurrincane Ian. Their house on Sanibel was flooded and is being gutted to the studs, treated for mold, and basically being rebuilt, almost from the slab up. Norm and his wife were able to secure nearby housing until their house is ready.

Whitney Jones of Whitney’s Bait & Tackle on Sanibel bought out Norm in late 2021. He renamed the shop Sanibel Fly Outfitters. So one shop dedicated to fly fishing, and the other bait fishing. Both stores suffered damage from Hurricane Ian but are open while going through the rebuild.
