Hello, everyone.
For my next rod, I’m looking for an ideal taper to handle the following in a four season location:
-indicator nymph fishing in the warmer months - larger nymphs
-indicator nymph fishing in the cold months - midges
-occasional dries - something that will adequately handle dries when the situation presents itself
Basically, a four-season “match the hatch” rod. Thus, delicacy (dries and nymphs in skinny water) is an issue, but power to pick line off the water is also crucial.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts.
