I would say it has likely had a bit of extra framework added to address a couple cracks. These old wooden reels are neat but rather intolerant to hitting the ground!

Yes looks that way, doesn’t it. I’ve been trying to identify the trade mark on the front, but no joy.

That is the early logo for the 'Modern Arms' company who started up in London and ended up in Bromley.
