Here's my collections of Horrocks Ibbotson registered rods. As far as I know, they are all of the models ever offered in a registered version. From top to bottom, they are:
1. Old HIs Hitest - 8.5'
2. Chancellor - 8.5'
3. Vernley - 9'
4. Canada Creek - 8'
They are some of my favorite rods, especially the Canada Creek.

#2Very cool.
Do you know what years these were produced and their prices?

#3I would date these to just post WW2 to the early 50s, although the Hitest could be earlier. wrong66 is the resident HI expert, so maybe he knows when the Registered series ran. As far as prices, here's a picture of a page in a catalog (not sure of the date) that shows prices.

#4Interesting- pretty high priced/ good quality rods.
Not what typically comes to mind with H&I.
Nice collection.

#5Very nice Kevin - been waiting for this photo! That Chancellor with the dark cane is eye candy. This lends credence that H-I produced some fine rods.
Obviously, they produced tens of thousands of lower end rods but that provided the common man the opportunity to have a rod and although not high end and finely crafted, there are a lot of them that survived.
Fine collection and beautifully displayed - Thank you!

#8Yeah, for someone that doesn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a rod, the high end of the lower end makers are definitely the way to go! All four of those rods were obtained for considerably less than $1000.
