Is anyone making perfect style plate wind reels similar to Hardy Perfects in trout size reels besides Chris Henshaw and Matt Zinkgraf?

You might reach out to Wayne Petrevan (canadafishingreels.com). He makes larger spey size plate wind reels, so he may be open to making smaller ones as well. He has made a couple of "custom" size and type reels for me in the past. He primarily makes center pin reels, and his work is outstanding.

VRD Design (Vlad) make a trout size Perfect type reels if you scroll down in this forum you can see a post from him on his reel title Troutta Perfectta. The reels look real nice and get good reviews from people who have bought them including many on here. In addition, the prices are very reasonable.

The VR Design reels are lovely reels but looking at the website I don’t see any Perfect style reels.

While I yet to see one in 'the flesh', Wayne Petrevan makes 3 1/4" left or right hand wind Perfect style 'plate-wind' trout reels complete with red agate line guard and 1912 check.

Attach picture is of a 4" plate-wind made by Wayne.

I did see Wayne post on facebook about making 3 1/4" perfect style reels today with 1912 checks. 2024 for delivery sounds about right. If my memory is correct, Wayne spends the winter in Mexico and does design work there, then spends the summer building reels.

Dan Holder at Stamp River Reels has made some perfect style reels and most recently has been a limited production of BC Jade Perfects for Art Lingren and others.

Yes, but they're not quite as high-quality.

The best companies making style plate wind reels are Hardy, Daiwa, and Alvey. If you're looking for a trout-sized reel, then the best option is Hardy Perfects. They're known for their quality and durability.

If you want to save some money, Chris Henshaw makes a set of style plate wind reels that are pretty good. They're not quite as durable as the other brands mentioned above, but they'll still last you a long time if you take care of them.

Matt Zinkgraf also makes some style plate wind reels that are really great for the price—they're even cheaper than Chris Henshaw's!
In addition, you can see more fishing reel reviews to choose the one that really suits your needs like this article: https://trizily.com/best-fly-reel-reviews/

I have one of Chris's early Perfects with the red agate line guard and have been unsuccessful in contacting him regarding current value. As new condition.
Anyone have any opinions or ideas?
Thanks.

Kobas (Japan) has some nice reels. his model Model 520S 2~3WT 64mm 100g may fit the bill. But he isn't a full time maker. delivery seems to not be quick.
