Well, I've finally done it!
#1After procrastinating for a long time, I've finally put together a personal web site, I've posted some of my stories, classic tackle pictures, and have a nice selection of items for sale as I'm thinning out the herd. Rods, reels, lure displays, books, and many other items are there. If you've got a few minutes, check it out and let me know what you think! It is http://www.vintageanglers.com.

#3Nicely done. I do have a question. On the page with the article "OF WOOD, BAMBOO, BRASS AND SILK" there are a couple of pictures. Who built the rod with the wooden handle and checkered grip?

#5That, SpringCreek, is the Heddon Deluxe #60, what I consider to be the most beautiful fly rod ever built. And it's my favorite rod!Who built the rod with the wooden handle and checkered grip?

#7I know there are some places that list purveyors of classic angling gear. Can any of you guys suggest some sites where I could get my website listed?

#12Love it Kevin! Nice job! BTW, the mystery Belmont rod you have for sale was made by Montague for Sears. It is a similar/same taper as their Rapidan/Fishkill. I have that same rod and it is a very nice 4/5 weight. Now I see we have two rods in common (I also have an 8' Canada Creek).

#14Well done Kevin! Offering items that will invite new comers to the bamboo arena at fair and very reasonable prices is very welcoming.
Wishing you well with the venture!
P.S. I just picked up an unused H-I Cascade - 8 1/2'!
