One more member from Finland
#1Hi Everyone,
I realised I've not introduced myself. My name is Kauko, I'm retired and live in Pori, Finland.
I started building bamboo rods in 2015, and have built just one every winter season. Typically I fish them in Lappland, on backpacking trips. I hope I can keep that up a few years, still. I'll be 70 this year, so...

#5Welcome from the Catskills, NY, USA. I have seen a couple of videos done by anglers camping and fishing in Lapland and it looks like a beautiful area with fine fishing!

#11I am 68 and still haven't retired yet, so am hoping that backpacking/fishing is in my future. So far(fingers crossed) I have managed to keep myself in good shape. I recently took up trail running, and although I'm very slow, it should keep me agile enough to keep up the outdoor activities for a while. Thanks for the inspiration Kauko. Keep going! Stay young.
