#2Excellent! Mine is en route! He is fun to read. I currently have a complete collection, all twenty, of first editions of all of Gierach's work. The only one I'm missing is his first book on poetry. Dam near impossible to find. Someday.....

#8Can't wait for my copy to arrive! I could use some light winter reading right now. The world can seem a bit bleak and I'm strongly craving some time on a small mountain stream. As he might put it, I've got a mild case of the shack-nasties.
Also, nice to see some copies of his earlier works. The bits of his poetry I've read, I've enjoyed and his conversational voice shines through in all his writing styles.

#9I had received an advanced proof copy in early November. I enjoyed this book a little more than his last two or three. Of course each individual will have to decide on their own if it's their cup of tea.

#14Mine arrived courtesy of Mike Clark yesterday afternoon. Enjoying it, though it is obvious John is repeating himself. I recognize some of the stories from earlier books. I have a signature but no original artworki

#15I don’t read Gierach but Bob is a friend and I do have some of his work. He added these special touches.reelytrout wrote: ↑03/03/23 16:55Any other purchasers have a sketch done by Bob? If so,let’s have a look!

#17Cannot speak for all outlets but he has stopped in at Mike Clark's shop to sign books when Mike and Kathy received the shipments for years.

#18Yeah I’ve usually gotten mine from Mike over the years(or Bob White) and he always signed stock copies there but the new binding option and mass availability of signed editions has me wondering.

Re: All The Time in The World
#20Well, I'm halfway through the new book. It seems to me that after the last couple of Gierach's books I thought he had lost his wonderful witty and comical edge. No longer. He's back and as edgy as ever. It's had been a while since he had me laughing aloud. Pleased to be refreshed with "All The Time in the World".
