Wasn’t sure what to tie up with all the bugs hatching right now, so something buggy with hare’s ear should work. Thanking out the Abrams 8’. Should be a lot of fun.

Hit the river last night-- The Kennebec in The Forks ,Maine

caught some Brookies on a bead head Copper John
Image
on a scale of one to ten (ten being the worst) Black flies were about a 6. They will be worse this coming weekend. Even with repellant your arms get wet while you're fishing and it washes off.
