An Outdoor Journal by Jimmy Carter

Hi Guys, This is a really good book. The first chapter I picked to read was, 'The 49th State, but First in Fishing.' He discusses Wilderness and Wildlife Refuges. I forgot what he accomplished in those areas. Really a lot! He also fished with his grandson Jason who the gave the eulogy from his family. He was a begining fly fisherman at the time. He had a lot of other out door pursuits as well, including bird hunting, ducks, grouse, etc. He reads like a really good outdoor writer. It's well worth reading. I'm not done yet. He did a lot for Alaska.

I agree with Bluesjay. A fun read. Here is my signed copy. Mr. President signed it for me the first time I tied flies for him. That was one of the last times he was here to fish in Montana. Which was about 6-7 years ago.

Read his books years ago and really enjoyed them. Always wanted to meet him and maybe fish for an afternoon.
