Anyone know how many variations this came in? I'm thinking 8-1/2' and 9' but would like to know for sure.

Thanks,
Rolf

8'6" Singlebuilt, 9' and 9'6" Doublebuilt were cataloged but that does not mean other lengths were never made.

Supposedly also a 8' was made. I (think, may) have one - a 8/3/2, defintely SB Cane (looks like 323 coloration)and ferrules - was refinished when i first saw it. That refinisher/dealer (a good one in my mind) said that it was a 323 with a destroyed seat and grip - so it was refinished. I got it for absolutely nothing so I tend to believe. Another good name who worked on it, said it definitely looks and smells like a323 - 8/3/2 - fast dry fly action , 5-6 wt. Might be one - but i have heard of and seen others for sale - but rare...

An 8' SB of any model is rare and I'd warrant an excellent caster to boot, enjoy it.
