Montague Trail Fly Rod 9'

Post by barefoot1 »

Hello, I'm new here and looking at the Montague Forum. Rick's of Denver, Co recommended this forum to me. I recently discovered a Montague Trail 9' Fly Rod in my in-laws attic as we were cleaning it out. The rod is in a cloth bag and has both tip ups with it. It is in excellent condition.
I was told there is a moderator named "Monty" who is a Montague enthusiast and collects them. I'm hoping to get in touch with him ::) and I hope I'm in the right forum If not maybe someone will steer me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any help, Jeff

If you post in the Appraisals and Identification forum you'll most likely get a quicker answer.Pictures will get you more information.I've noticed these forums at the bottom hardly ever get looked at.

I would be very careful with an attic find. It could look great and the cane be totally dry rotted. The extremes in attic temperatures are destructive for long-term storage.
